Sour Grapes

Why can't we park along the grassy area next to the library any more? It's a gravel lot - it's not like we're killing grass.

Is Georgia a smoke free state? Florida is and Alabama is not.

Why on earth can't they fix the pot holes on main street? Is the city afraid it'll lose a truck in them? I'm afraid I'll lose my car! Relief please!

With every major news story the established news organizations seem to react with amazement that citizens were able to contribute as much as they did... Obviously they will! It's their community. They care about it, why wouldn't they? It's the future...

Why are so many people with government jobs taking up valuable time talking about how the media should stop drawing comparisons to the Katrina relief effort? Perhaps they 'want' us to see the difference? Why don't they just do what we're paying them to do and stop trying to influence our perception? I'm sick of it!

With so many issues to solve here at home - on earth... why spend so much in space? If we just quit spending tax money to do it... I think Boeing and similar companies will make even more progress because it will more quickly become a new revenue stream for them.
