Local record label Mantooth Music will mix beats and charity in a rap and hip-hop concert Friday at Tasty World. The show will benefit the Loran Smith Center for Cancer Support, a community support group that provides free psychosocial support for those in the community who are dealing with the effects of cancer.
Athens studio helps disabled with textbooks
A banner reading "Lend Us Your Voice" hangs from the one-story brick building. Inside, volunteers read aloud textbooks in eight recording booths. In 1948, Anne T.
