UGAToday - What are we trying to do here?

Well here we go, off into the unchartered waters of a community portal, citizen journalism or whatever you want to call this initiative. We think UGA is ready for something along these lines and hope you agree and want to participate.
UGAToday.com could just as easily be YouGaToday.com because we're counting on YOU, the University of Georgia community, to embrace this site and make it work. Head up the Chess Club at UGA? Use this site to communicate what you're doing: all the who, what, when, where and why's that go into letting people know more about you or your organization.
Have an interesting story to tell? We'd like you to tell it here whether in pictures, video, audio or the written word. Over the coming months we plan to have all the tools available to you.
